EGYPT. Alexandria. Diocletian, 284-305. Tetradrachm (Bronze, 20 mm, 6.95 g, 12 h), RY 12 = 295/6. ΔΙOKΛHTIANOC CЄB Laureate and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right. Rev. L IB Zeus standing front, head to left, holding thunderbolt in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, eagle standing left, head to right, and a palm frond. Dattari (Savio) -. Emmett -. K&G -. RPC X online 88943. Extremely rare, just two examples noted in RPC. Somewhat rough, otherwise, good very fine.
